How you can help others if you are able


Volunteer to help others - Leeds City Council is partnering with Voluntary Action Leeds to help provide care and support.  Training will be provided so volunteers are as safe as possible.  For more information and to sign up as a volunteer click here

Landlord Scott Westlake is offering a befriending service for any of their customers (Myrtle customers only) who are lonely, isolated or just want to chat.  Email  via their website with;  name / relatives name;  day they / you normally visit the Myrtle; and  their telephone number.

Help if you need it


If you cannot go out - If you are self-isolating and you do not have friends or family who live locally who can help, you can get help from Voluntary Action Leeds. If you need help phone 0113 378 1877.  Volunteers can help you with shopping, transport to medical appointments, or a phone call to check how you are.

Meanwood Valley Urban Farm – Save Meanwood Farm appeal.  The farm is a charity and with continuing costs and an unprecedented loss of income it will struggle to get through the current restrictions.  They have launched a Save Meanwood Farm appeal on JustGiving to help the steer through the crisis.  Any donation hugely appreciated.
